Sportcentrum Vliegende Vaart is een multifunctioneel sportcentrum, met onder meer een sportevenementenhal (deelbaar in twee sporthallen of vier gymlokalen), twee binnenbaden, een openluchtbad, een horecagelegenheid en een vergaderruimte.
Daarnaast horen ook gemeentelijke buitenbaden Axel, Koewacht, Sas van Gent, Zaamslag en SportPunt Terneuzen bij de exploitatie.
