It contributes to the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia’s educational programs on a regular basis. The SPPM supports excellence in the provision of care by encouraging research, quality assessment and improvement, and the development of standards of care in the practice of pain medicine for children. It encourages networking and collaboration between its members.
