What is it about?

The Bronx Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for Migraine study is a randomized clinical trial designed to assess whether MBCT for Migraine reduces migraine-related disability compared to wait-list/treatment-as-usual. Consented participants provide daily information regarding migraine symptoms and daily functioning for 30 days, and are then randomized to receive 8 weeks of either individual weekly 90-minute sessions of MBCT, or wait-list/treatment-as-usual. All participants then complete a final 30 days of daily information regarding migraine symptoms and daily functioning. The target audience is adults (18-65) with migraine who experience headache on 6-29 days per month.
