Step-by-Step is a voluntary research project on a support programme provided through a smartphone app or website.
We have developed this programme for people across the world who are experiencing difficult emotions.
The aim of our research is to see if Step-by-Step works, and to make it better based on people’s experiences with it.
To this end, we offer the app as part of scientific studies in different countries.
In Lebanon, Step-by-Step is offered to the general population by a collaborative team from the Ministry of Public Health and the World Health Organization.
In Germany, Sweden and Egypt, Step-by-Step is offered to Syrian refugees by a research team at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany.
If you are over 18 and experiencing stress or low mood, please step in.
Currently, Step-by-Step is open to participants in the following countries:
Lebanon
Studies in the remaining countries will start in spring 2019.
For more information on the Step-by-Step study in your country, please download the app or choose “sign up” on the Step-by-Step website.
