Steps Insitu is intended to provide an easy-to-use tool for educators to conduct their simulation training. This tool is designed to be used in the environments that the medical emergency takes place but can also be performed in any simulation lab. This program can be used with a single tablet or two tablets which can provide the learners with an interactive bedside monitor for better immersion during the scenario. Combine our application with any low fidelity mannequin and the medical equipment of your choice to assist you with your simulation experience. Our first release involving high-risk neonatal deliveries plans to expand not only the library of scenarios but different departments of medicine within those scenarios. One program can involve multiple areas promoting collaboration between different departments within the hospital.

Steps Insitu will provide the Situation, Background, Assessment, and Recommendation for the training team. Additionally, to stimulate and promote critical thinking, outcomes of the scenarios are programmed to change based on the team’s chosen actions. A detailed debriefing will be provided for the instructor to review with the team, and for organizational accounts, this debriefing can be viewed at anytime by each participant in the scenario.
