App Store Description
STEPS stands for Structured E-Parenting System. It is an easy to use app designed by experts to help support and guide parents who may be having difficulty managing their children’s challenging behaviour.
STEPS will explore why your child might sometimes behave in ways that are difficult to manage and also tell you about practical ways to improve your child’s behaviour, strengthen their relationship with you and hopefully make you feel better about yourself as a parent.
STEPS is developed from a successful face-to-face parenting approach called the New Forest Parenting Programme. This programme has been used in both one-on-one and group settings and has helped thousands of parents. StEPS takes many of the ideas and skills from this programme and delivers them in digital format.
STEPS provides support and guidance quickly, at the time it is needed. It can be incredibly useful when parents are waiting to see a clinician which can take a very long time.”
STEPS does not replace expert clinical support. It adds to it. It is a stand-alone approach that does not involve any day-to-day input from health professionals but does help many parents in similar situations to you.”
