StewardshAPP is part of a comprehensive, integrated program from Infectious Disease Specialist that targets the main influencing factors that drive antimicrobial use in Long Term Care facilities. We alleviate LTC facilities from the burdens of setting up, monitoring and sustaining an antimicrobial stewardship program, that is in compliance with CDC's recommendation on Core Elements of Antibiotic Stewardship for Nursing Homes, the Joint Commission's Antimicrobial Stewardship Requirements for Nursing Care Centers and CMS' Requirements for Antimicrobial Stewardship for LTC Facilities. We contract with facilities and offer program leadership and management from Board Certified Infectious Disease Physicians that is consistent with current guidelines and rooted in best practices and evidenced based medicine. Facilities can tailor the program based on their current need as they see fit.
