The value of Strokesaver is in the proportionally scaled graphics, created from GPS ground survey to Open Championship standards an high resolution aerial photography. All points on a given arc, including reference points, are the same distance to the green front and an accurate assessment of any distance is possible due to the precise scaling of each hole.
In parallel to the famous printed books, the app provides the content for online usage.
Scoring is new feature of the App. After selecting a course, the flight can be scorred during the round. The scoring feature shows a leaderbord for the flight live with the tables, one for the best player based on the number of strokes, a seconfd for the best player netto according to the Stableford points and a third, which is the brutto result during the round. Within the scoring feature is is possible to define challenges per hole to play and to define prices for the winner. Additionally the App provides signing and sending the scorecard as a png file plus a csv file for further use!
