Sweetsie Bakery and Cafe

Sweetsie Bakery is a concept bakery and cafe that offers a unique menu that your entire family can enjoy like our family has for many years.

The concept for Sweetsie began in 1982 by Adell Crook, my mother. She was a military wife that was far away from her extended family and blessed with 5 hungry kids to feed each day. She had already embraced the military concept of inclusiveness of all cultures and backgrounds when she took an interest in Asian Fare, particularly egg rolls. She was on a tight budget and soon realized that she could put anything into an egg roll wrapper and deep fry it and the kids would eat it, including leftovers.

Soon, all of the kids in the neighborhood were congregating at her home to taste her newest creations. We hope that you enjoy our offerings as much as our family has over the years.
