He has taught more than 100,000 people and has been voted a TOP 50 Instructor in the United States three times by Golf Range Magazine. He is the author of Baseball Golf, Start Golf Now, & Miyagi For Golf. He is the inventor of the Golfer’s Template, Golfer’s Tee Box, Golf Grip Shim, and Golf Swing Board.
Don’s long list of students includes comedian Jeff Foxworthy, NFL legend Brett Favre, PGA & Champions Tour golfer Tim Simpson, and the 2004 Champion Golfer of the Year, Open winner Todd Hamilton.
Don’s book, “Baseball Golf”, and his “Swing Builder” video series has gained high regard and exposure on line. Don currently works out of his 4000 square foot Swing Factory Golf Performance Studio in Roswell, Georgia where he trains several top junior golfers in the Atlanta area and plays in local GPGA events competitively.
Peterson likens his golf training style to the famous Karate Kid movie where the teacher, Miyagi, teaches Karate to his young student by having him sand decks, wax cars, and paint fences. Peterson’s sequential system helps students to develop better swings in a shorter amount of time.
