While System Info delivers accurate information about your device, like battery health, memory and CPU usage as well as hardware details, it comes with a full report that shows malware, jailbreaks, viruses and other possibly unwanted applications

A single tap on report starts a full scan that includes a battery check, jailbreak detection, virus scan and malware detection.

The report finishes with one of three colors on the display.

- Green: You're fine. Your battery is healthy, no virus, malware, jailbreak or any other application that can harm your phone’s security or anything suspicious or wrong was detected.

- Yellow: One or more issues were found. Yellow is not a serious threat, but you may want to check your battery state. It might be the case that you need to replace your battery with a new one.

Also your phone could be running out of disk space which may cause performance issues. Deleting apps and documents you don’t use might be of help in this case. Don’t forget to back up your documents before deleting them from your device.

- Red: Your device is in danger because one or more security and/or privacy issues were detected. This can be a malware, a virus, a jailbreak or a harmful application, and immediate action is recommended.

If you got a malware running on your device please proceed as following:

Uninstall the latest app you installed and run the test again
If you still get the same red screen, uninstall the next app
Continue until you get a green screen
Report the malicious app that caused the red screen to Apple

If you got a message telling you to reset your phone unfortunately you encountered a serious problem and the first thing you can do is to perform a factory reset following the steps outlined here: https://support.apple.com/HT204686

Once your device is reset, update it to the newest iOS, then start installing one app at a time. After installing an app, check your system again. You are fine as long as you see the green screen after the system check. If you see a red screen, uninstall the app that caused the red screen and don’t install it again. Instead, report this app to Apple following this link: https://support.apple.com/HT204686

A more detailed description on how to proceed when the Report showed a red screen can be found here:

Important Note:
System Info needs to be connected to the internet in order to download the newest virus definitions. The app does not start if not connected to the internet

*** Download System Info today and keep your device safe from any kind of malware, viruses and unwanted applications! ***
