Teach yourself to be happy - Guided Meditation and Mindfulness training with various meditations, tutorials and a musical timer for self-practice.

The Take3Breaths app has been designed to provide a harmonious approach to both studying and practicing meditation. Its purpose is to provide the beginner and practiced meditator a source of stress-relief, mental well-being and relaxation exercises by providing different meditation techniques. These include: guided sleep meditations, walking meditation and mindfulness meditations. Reduce stress and avoid the consequences of poor mental health, such as anxiety and depression.
Choose from carefully selected tutorials, guided meditations and techniques or use the musical meditation timer to practice your own meditations or mindfulness.
Different methods are taught so that users can gain access to a technique or techniques that work best for them. Manage stress, ensure better sleep, improve your decision making and problem solving with Take3Breaths' guided meditation.
Start by downloading the app for free and trying the short ‘Take Three Breaths’ meditation.
Whilst acknowledging the ancient and mystic origins of meditation, the app takes a scientific approach to meditation and its techniques. It recognises that meditation requires the brain to adopt an ‘Alpha’ brainwave state and is ideal for beginners and experienced meditators alike.
The app has been developed, from workplace feedback, by Meditation in the Workplace Ltd, a company who specialises in creating more mindful workplaces, happier teams and a better society by teaching staff meditation techniques and helping them stay in the present moment, battle-work-related stress and get rid of negative emotions. Its purpose is to widen the access to this meditation approach and to teach about the positive impacts of meditation to the general public as well as colleagues, friends and families. In addition, it provides additional training and an ‘always available’ meditation resource to those accessing the workplace sessions. The app offers an extra advantage as it also helps users to be mindful of the significance of nature and our surrounding ecosystem. An acorn is planted by the app as the user starts their meditation journey. As the Oak tree matures, it becomes a focal point of mindfulness, attracting a diverse array of animals, insects, fungi, and other elements essential for maintaining ecological balance. Explore the many species linked to oak trees and understand the impact of the tree on their existence, while also discovering the positive effects they contribute to the overall ecosystem.
The app consists of:
Tutorials that will help you start to practice meditation - follow Take3Breaths meditation program and enjoy it's benefits.
The science behind meditations - understand your mind and learn how to listen to your body
Structured meditations that guide users through their meditation and mindfulness practice
Timer – for freeform personal meditations
Meditations and tutorials from meditation teacher Martin Hassall
Uplifting and relaxing meditation and sleep music from the Polish composer Kacper Graczyk
Statistics and reminders to encourage regular meditation practice
An educational game where the user discovers and learns about the species associated with oak trees and how they affect our ecosystem
The technique approach taught by the app recognizes that human beings are not all the same and that a single meditation technique will not work for all people. Users are encouraged to try the different techniques, provided by the app, to find meditation practices that their mind is most suited to.

This guided meditation app encourages users to create a daily practice. Daily progress and mood is automatically tracked in the app calendar along with how the person feels before and after they have completed a meditation. If you are searching for a mood tracker app this one can work for you as well.
