Talitha Kum Walking in Dignity

The app, promoted by Talitha Kum, International Network of Catholic Sisters Against Human Trafficking, serves as a tool to raise awareness among the new generations about human trafficking and to promote social engagement projects in an interactive and engaging way. It works by tracking the steps of its users: as they reach certain thresholds, the app presents informative content on human trafficking issue. Moreover, the steps accumulated can be converted into points, which users can donate their steps to specific humanitarian projects. Projects that exceed a certain point threshold are realized.

Talitha Kum is an international initiative of Catholic Sisters whose mission is to end human trafficking and exploitation through collaborative initiatives focused on prevention, protection, social reintegration, and rehabilitation of survivors, partnership and advocacy, promoting actions that impact systemic causes.
