App Store Description
The Talk with me app from Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland is for people who have had a stroke resulting in a communication difficulty called Aphasia. Aphasia means that it may be
difficult to speak, understand speech, read or write after a stroke.
Talk with me uses symbols, images and photographs to help with conversation and basic communication. It is free to download.
Talk with me is based on an existing Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland conversation support booklet which is widely used within NHS Scotland, Scottish Ambulance Service, families,
carers for people with Aphasia after stroke and Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland rehabilitation and peer support services for over 10 years. The new app has been developed with Chest
Heart & Stroke Scotland in partnership with Lawlor Technologies and funded by Scottish Government with an Adult Community Care Grant.
