Talking Maternity

The Talking Maternity app is designed to guide you through your preparations for maternity or adoption leave and the return to work. It is intended to help professional working women manage their maternity transition effectively. By adding in your estimated leave date and return to work date, the app can recognise the stage you are at and can send you prompts to move you through each phase.

We have provided a checklist for each stage of the transition, which you can use to plan the actions you need to take in order to make your transition as smooth as possible. You can tick off the actions in the checklists or create your own custom checklists. Content includes; announcing and planning for your leave, communicating with key people, thinking about your career, planning your return to work, choosing childcare, settling back in and getting the right work-life balance for you.

You can also search for help and advice in the Q&A section. This links to an open forum where you can find more ideas on parenting. The advanced knowledge feature will allow you access to more detailed guidance and tips, including coaching questions, videos and cartoons.
