We are proud to present this collaboration between Kaiserstadt Tattoo Expo and Studios New Amerika, whose founder – world renowned, Aachen-based artist Tim Berresheim – works with digital image genesis as is fit for the year 2017. In cooperation with several tattooers, he produced a gateway between the analog craft of tattooing and modern digital imagery, the outcome of which can be explored with this app or 3D glasses. Both the analog tattoo flash and the digital picture are the product of considerable efforts. The tank in the background for instance was generated with a 3D landscape scan in the forests surrounding Aachen. Among the tattooers involved in the project are Stef Bastiàn, Caio Piñeiro, Guen Douglas, Jeff Rassier, Imme Böhme and Ralf Ostermöller.
