There are currently over 10,000 non-profits in the Tampa Bay area focused on addressing the Social Determinants of Health. Government and For-Profit Organizations also seek to address these issues in order to improve health equity, but these issues still persist. Much of this work is duplicated throughout the region, contributing to a less efficient use of time and dollars in addressing health equity. TBHC Collaborate provides the opportunity to leverage each other's strengths and resources.
