App Store Description

For small and medium enterprises (SMEs) - establish and operate a simple yet relevant Environment Management System (EMS).
This mobile app has been developed for the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) of the food and beverage (F&B) sector in Myanmar to help them establish and operate a simple yet meaningful and relevant Environment Management System (EMS) in their individual business enterprises.
It is an easy to use self-learning and self-help digital solution and has been developed under the “Tha Bar Wa” project and carries the same name. Tha Bar Wa is a four year project funded by the European Union under the SWITCH-Asia Programme and implemented by WWF Myanmar. It promotes cleaner production in Myanmar’s growing Food and Beverages sector, specifically in the small and medium-size enterprises.
The Tha Bar Wa mobile app is bilingual (English and Burmese) and has three main components:
- Knowledge Resources
- Calculation Support Tools - this is a mix of computation, estimation and monitoring tools which together are referred to as “Calculators” for simplicity
- Self Assessment Tool
To use the app, a user must register and create an account. The user is provided with the option to use the app in “English” or “Burmese” language. After “signing in” to the account, the user will be taken to the home page which by default is the “Knowledge Resources” page.
