First off, we are not affiliated in any way with the city government of Washington DC.

Over the past few years, I have been reading in the papers and the notices from the Washington DC city government that they would like to hear from residents and others about how they are doing. In addition, they would like us to let them know if we see something that they should attend to. Their preferred method of communication is Twitter.

So.... I wrote this app to make it easy for you, the residents and visitors of Washington DC, to let them know what you see and think.

See a street sign that is painted and you can not read it? Open the app, take a picture, add a few notes to the message, select the hashtag #GoodSignDC and send using location - we will add the location to the tweet so they know exactly where the problem is located.

So you want to send a tweet, but you do not want anyone to know where you sent the tweet from? Easy! Send the tweet using the "Tweet (no location)" option!

See confusing street signs? Tweet to #GoodSignDC!
Want to tell the Mayor what's on your mind? Tweet to @MayorBowser!
Wondering what is going on in the neighborhood? Tweet to @DCPoliceDept!
Want to tell the city council something? Tweet to @councilofdc!
Need other City services? Checkout the list of official Twitter handles!

Don't see the DM or # you are looking for? Add it to the message!

You will need a Twitter account - you will login to your Twitter account when the Tweet is going to be sent.
