When installed on your smartphone, this TELUS Home Phone App App allows you to make and receive TELUS Home Phone calls even when you are away from your home. This service is available to qualified TELUS Fibre Home Phone customers only
Here’s how it works:
* The TELUS Home Phone App is available to qualified TELUS Fibre Home Phone subscribers only. If you qualify, you must first log into your TELUS self-serve account and subscribe to this service. Next, you must download and activate this App.
* Once you have successfully completed the step above, you are ready to use your Home Phone App. Your smartphone must have an active data connection to the network in order for the App to work. This could be Wi-Fi or Mobile Data. The Home Phone App consumes data and you will incur data charges in the same way as when you use other Apps on your smartphone.
* Any incoming call to your home phone number will ring both your wired home phone and the Home Phone App; you can pick the call up either on your wired home phone line or this App.
* Outgoing calls can be made from your Home Phone App. Calls will be rated as though you were calling from your home no matter where you are actually located at the time of the call. Any call that is local from your home will be free when made from your Home Phone App. As well, any call that is Long Distance from your home location will be charged at the same long distance rate as calls made from your home location.
Requirements:
* Exclusively for qualified TELUS Fibre Home Phone subscribers only. A TELUS.com account is required to manage this App.
* You must first log in to your TELUS self-serve portal to subscribe to this feature on your TELUS Fibre Home Phone line.
