Although these solutions can work, Tenant Connect stores information separately on both the tenant and the rental unit, as well as allows the landlord to access it any place, anytime. Tenant Connect is a specialized Customer Relationship Management (CRM) cloud type software. Aside from the information Tenant Connect stores, it also allows easy communication to the tenant directly from the app, as well as tracks notes the landlord can store as needed. These notes will come in handy as the landlord is able to view a "history" of their tenants and rental units. These notes are also exportable to pdf files.

The basics of the Tenant Connect App is a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform to store, organize, and access contacts (tenants) on the go (by the landlord). What has made this unique as a CRM is that the tenants are categorized specifically as needed by the landlord and the landlord has the ability to either send an individual text or email to the tenant or group of tenants (if it’s a shared living environment). This streamlines and speeds up the communication process between tenant and landlord.
