text-to-flash: Batch Creation
What is it about?
Speaking from personal experience making flashcards can be tedious and laborious but most of all not all to beneficial to the learning process - but actually being able instantly revise and test yourself can be very effective. text-to-flash, aims to make that process easier - simply take a picture of your vocabulary list ( one column with the words another with the corresponding translation ), and watch the application covert it to a digital list that you can test yourself on with the in-built flashcard tester. Coming with a range of modes including: revise, test, flagged, it is a great tool. Revise is simply that you can look through a shuffled version of the whole set checking if you know it. Test builds on the revise mode in the fact it adaptively chooses the words depending on how hard you found it previously - aiming to replicate tests that you may receive from the teacher. Flagged is for the last minute brush up, it only tests on a subset that you found very difficult to learn - this subset is from the words that were flagged in the revise mode. Overall the application hopefully will you go a full vocabulary learning experience however people work differently and flashcards may not be the optimal method so as a result the list can also be exported to be used with other platforms for example Quizlet.
