Thames Widgets puts one or more iOS widgets on your Today screen (iPad, iPhone, iPod) or any screen (iPhone. iPod). Each widget shows, in real time, the condition for the selected stretch as well as the conditions for the immediate upstream and downstream stretches (for example, selecting Marsh Lock stretch shows the condition for the Marsh to Hambleden stretch preceded by Shiplake to Marsh stretch and followed by Hambleden to Hurley stretch.
You can put multiple widget on one or more pages (iPhone, iPod) or the Today screen (all devices); as with any iOS widgets, Thames Widgets can be stacked to optimise screen usage and can easily be changed or updated to match progress up or down the river.
When first added each Thames Widget is set to centre on Marsh stretch but can easily be changed by long tapping and following the prompts.
Running the app (not necessary to display widgets) offers help and guidance for widgets and general river usage.
