It’s becoming more and more difficult to set goals and follow through with the steps necessary to complete them. Bloom inspires growth through recording your goals and connecting with others to make achieving these goals a reality. Your journey may be a difficult one, but Bloom is a place of positivity and you’re not alone. Follow family, friends, and others who share similar interests in bettering themselves in a number of ways. Whether you want to lose weight, learn a new skill, or start your own business, we want to help you Bloom.


Goal Posting:
• Writing down and sharing your goals with others holds you more accountable to completing them. Whether the goal is a self directed one, or one that requires a mentor/coach/partner/etc, you’ll be able to express what it is and who/what you need to complete it.
• To encourage connectivity and support in achieving your desired goals, posts can be Cheered and Commented on.
• The Team Up function, which is available on goals where the postee requests helping in achieving their desired goal, allows others to private direct message users to provide advice or support.


Planner:
• A private Planner will accompany all goal postings and allow the user to list all of the steps necessary to complete their stated goal. Users will be able to set completion dates that accompany each step and be able to check off the steps one by one as they finish them.


Goal Updates:
• When the user checks off items from their planner, or they feel that they have made progress relating to a particular goal, they will have the ability to post an update that connects to the original goal.
• A progress bar can be increased as well in order to visually show the user’s advancement toward the completion of their goal.


Promos:
• Maybe a user’s goal isn’t something self focused, but rather that they have the abilities, tools, or skills necessary to help others achieve their goals. Promos allow users to list their services and be discovered by others looking for help
• Users can find and connect with Promo posters through the explore page.


Explore:
• While the Home page will show the user goals and promos from the people that you personally follow, the Explore page allows you to see posts from all Bloom users.
• A number of filters will allow users to see posts about different goal types, connections, and others.


Discussions:
• Discussions provide forums for users to post questions related to accomplishing a particular goal and receive feedback from the Bloom community at large. Discussions can be placed into the same categories as goals, so its easier to translate advice given
• Specific comments can be boosted by other users to put particularly important and noteworthy advice to the top of the comments of each discussion
• Important discussions can be favourited so they can be followed easier. Discussions can also be filtered based on number of favourites, comments, or type of community.
