App Store Description

About this app

This app is the collection of fish recipes devised by a woman who was a fish peddler based in a fishing port called Sajima in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
Originally, the recipes were serialized in the Kanagawa Shimbun, a local newspaper in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, and it was made into a book as a collection of recipes due to its popularity.
We developed this app because we want a wide range of generations, especially growing children, to eat healthy fish dishes, and we also want them to feel more familiar with fish dishes.
With the Tokyo Olympics held, I thought it was time for more people to be interested in Japan, so I made an English version of the app.

How to use (Automatic translation)

- It consists of a collection of recipes for each season. Press the fish button for each season to see a list of recipe titles and photos.
- The search window at the top of the list can be used to narrow down titles by entering "fish name" or "cooking method".
- When you select each recipe in the list, detailed recipes are displayed with photos and read aloud while scrolling. * Reading will end when you switch to another screen.
- Reading and scrolling can be adjusted on the setting screen.
- You can check the cooking time with the kitchen timer.
- Check the "Freshly caught" section of the Kanagawa Shimbun website "Imakana" within the app. We will notify you of the update by push notification.
