Whether you’re just visiting or you’re a Seattle native, The Seattle App can help you celebrate it all with a randomized slideshow of regularly updated photos of Seattle, along with links to more info and location data.

Use the app to find new places to explore. Make a game of it - have someone pick a number, tap the refresh button that many times, and head off to the displayed location. Or become an armchair traveler by heading down the rabbit hole that starts at the “learn more about it” link provided with every photo.

It’s also a great way to showcase your own photos of Seattle. For a chance to have your photo included in The Seattle App, simply take some awesome photos of compelling places in Seattle and post them on unsplash.com. We’re always looking for new material! Be sure to publish your photos under Unsplash’s free license, list the location as Seattle, and include a brief description of what we’re looking at. More specific location data is always appreciated. (Images may be resized, cropped, or adjusted to look their best in the app.)
