Thinkster is a social network that utilizes questions and responses in addition to photo sharing instead of status updates. These responses are then shared with all users following you. Users can react to your responses or comment on them.

Questions fall into​ 1 of 5 categories:

• Politics
• Sports & Entertainment
• Personality
• Relationships
• Food

Questions are focused on local issues and updated regularly. If something is happening in your city, or in the world -- Thinkster is the platform on which to share your opinion!

By responding to these questions your overall percentage compatibility with the users you are following is calculated, as well as your percentage compatibility by question category.

After responding, a user has access to our interactive heat-map, the heat-map displays the predominant response to each question in a given region. The heat-map is collapsible down to the neighborhood level. The heat-map is also filterable by all demographical statistics collected at sign-up. As new responses come in, you can watch the heat-map update in real-time. Now you can really see how people around your city feel about anything!

When you are out of questions to respond to you can swipe through other users around you using the discover feature. Discovery cards present you with a user’s profile picture and a breakdown of your compatibility with the user. You can either swipe right to follow them or swipe left to pass.
