Our Mission
As a congregation of the Universal Church of Jesus Christ in the Baptist tradition, Third Baptist Church of Chicago is to be the Lord’s Great House, living out the Greatest Commandment and fulfilling the Great Commission. (2 Timothy 2:20-21; Matthew 22:36-40; Matthew 28:18-20)

Our Vision
As we fulfill our mission, Third Baptist Church of Chicago will enhance God’s Kingdom in these ways:
- Increasing in souls added through evangelism
- Developing new disciples, learning the faith
- Expanding its ministry to serve local and global communities
- Growing servant-leaders for the servant ministries of the church
- Working for biblical justice through advocacy and activism
