What is it about?
The main purpose of this application is to allow individuals with Aphasia, a communication disability, to schedule events for themselves throughout the day. As such it is focused on limiting text throughout the user experience and instead uses colors, icons, and images to represent different activities. It was developed in partnership with a non-profit (QL+) and the VA department. Although this was developed with a particular individual in mind it is meant for all individuals with Aphasia and actually can be very useful for any community that may prefer visual-based communication rather than text-based one.
