In Times Tables Treasure Quest, your child has to take on a dastardly pirate in a friendly quest for treasure! Your child hides three chests on their grid and the pirate hides his. Your child's challenge is simple - get the pirate's treasure before he gets theirs! If your child wants to have an advantage they can get extra turns by playing parrot cards... And how do they get parrot cards? By learning their times tables!

Before your child plays against the pirate, Times Tables Treasure Quest gives them tasks to help them learn their times tables. These include:

Explanations of how best to learn each times table
Chanting with the computer
Times tables songs
Revising their tables in order
Speed tests - answer random questions before the time you set expires

Automatically progressing through the times tables as they master each one

You can choose which of these tasks they use - you can have your child practising their tables using all of the above, just use it as a simple test, or you can let them decide for themselves.

As well as being rewarded for passing times tables tests by earning "parrot cards", which they can use in the game to beat the pirate, your child will also love the badges they collect for getting questions correct on their tests, getting answers quickly, and simply for practising on consecutive days. For each times table they successfully pass they also get a trophy! Will they be able to collect all of the trophies and fill their trophy cabinet?

As they practise more and more times tables the challenge of the game increases - there are five different pirates to play against, and they get more and more cunning! When they have finished playing, your child earns a score that will get on the high score table so they can see how much they are improving.
