Mosaic Mobile’s easy-to-navigate interface helps you to complete sample picking and storing tasks quicky and accurately. You are guided to the exact location of each sample or shown the correct place to store it. When a barcode is scanned, it is automatically checked against inventory to confirm you have the right sample. Any errors, such as an unrecognized barcode, are flagged.
Changes to sample location, and who performed each action, are recorded automatically to eliminate errors and reduce workloads.
Sample details can be displayed on-screen and can include:
- Basic information (substance name, substance type, amount, concentration, and so on)
- Container labware type
- Hazard information
- Location path with the exact position
- Expiry date
- Storage temperature
- Whether the sample requires secure storage
- A padlock icon if the sample is locked
- Work associated with the sample
