Token Parent - A family System

Token Parent is an app that allows parents to have a token economy based home. Token Parents can create and update their kids' profiles. This system teaches kids the value of earning the things they want in life. The end result is more freedom for both parents and Kids.
The Token Parent app is designed to teach kids the value of money by financially rewarding them for their work and good behaviors. Token Kids can also receive monetary violations as a result for poorly done jobs or disobedience to house rules. A financial balance is automatically kept for each of your Token Kids.
Token Parents can create jobs(tasks) specified for each of their kids. A job can be created for any ordinary chore a kid is asked to do around the house. Along with the job you can put a value of money the kid can earn for completing the job. Also, you can add an end date whereby if the kid doesn't complete the job by the end date you can update the value of the job to reflect less, zero, or even a negative amount. Once a Token Parent marks a job as done the kids balance will be updated to reflect the change.
Token Parents can give a violation with a custom amount for disobedience or for any reason. When a violation is created the Token Kid's balance will automatically update to reflect the change.
Goals can be created for each Token Kid either through the Token Parent app or through their own portal on the Token Kid app. This allows kids to learn how to set financial goals for things they want or a savings amount. The goal setting feature helps kids to be financially literate and to be comfortable with setting realistic goals.
Parents can discuss with the kids and make a list of things or expenses that each kid is responsible for with their earned money. If a kid has their drivers license then they might be responsible for the gas or car insurance for the vehicle. If a kid is younger maybe a more simple expense can be applied. Each feature in the app is optional.
Parents will also be able to give their kids monetary bonuses for extended obedience or for doing really well in school or if they are just overall a good kid. Bonuses can be a good way to teach kids the value of doing quality work in the things they do.
Overall this app is designed to help parents to help their kids be prepared and gain confidence in their ability to succeed in their lives, while still giving them the power to control the outcome in their lives.
The Community feature in the app gives Token Parents a space where they can ask and answer questions about the token economy based system. It is a safe space for parents to ask for advice and receive help from other experienced Token Parents. You can comment on other people's posts and learn from other peoples experiences with this unique system.
Although the app currently doesn't have functionality for connecting your bank information, Token Parent does allow you to update payments that you make to your individual kids. When you tap on the balance you will be taken to the payments page where you can settle up with your kid. When you pay your kid using your own desired payment method, you simply input that data to create a payment and your kids balance will automatically updated. How much easier can it be!?
