The first location, situated by the harbor in downtown Reykjavík, quickly proved to be ideal thanks to its spot next to one of the city’s main roads. It didn’t take long for the joint to gain popularity, and that success led to the opening of several more locations throughout the greater Reykjavík area. Today, there are nine Tommi’s Burger Joint restaurants across Iceland. In 2014, Tommi’s Burger Joint brought its burger magic to Copenhagen, introducing the Danes to the art of a proper burger.
