TOYS2SWAP is a digital platform that brings together people to buy, sell and donate second hand toys and other children’s items. The mobile apps creates a simple environment that saves time and makes the process quicker and easier, while being an environmentally friendly initiative that aims to keep plastics like toys, children’s clothes and other items in circulation for longer, and away from landfills. We are also a Social Enterprise, a part of Social Enterprise UK.

Toys are extremely difficult to recycle as they are often composed of multiple materials. For many families struggling to make ends meet, better quality products are often an un affordable luxury – even in an economically prosperous country like Britain. 13 million usable toys them ended up in landfills last year. Along with 235 million items of clothing in to landfill, and more.

TOYS2SWAP will unlock access to higher quality toys for children who would otherwise be denied them. And the environmental damage caused by the disposal of millions of old plastic toys and other items will be significantly reduced.

The apps and websites are free to use and advertise on, there are no external advertisements. We just want to leave earth, if not better, at least as we was born in to it- so our children, and the next generations could enjoy it too.
