TranslatorBuddy supports text-to-text for 137 language variants, speech-to-text for about 60 language variants, and text-to-speech for about 40 language variants. No wonder, it even understands the Star Trek language Klingon!

BEST OF BOTH WORLDS WITH SUPPORT FOR BOTH GOOGLE AND MICROSOFT

TranslatorBuddy lets you translate using engines from both Google and Microsoft. If you are not satisfied with the translation offered by one engine, you can easily switch to the translation offered by the other at the tap of a button (if supported by the other). Currently, Google Translate supports around 110 languages while Microsoft Translator supports around 70 languages.
Note: For some languages, only Google Translate is available. For some others, only Microsoft Translator is available.

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS!

Imagine you are in Tokyo looking for restaurants that serve Sushi Rolls. TranslatorBuddy can display pictures of Sushi Rolls while speaking out the translation in Japanese! Communication has never been easier with Image Hints.

Please note that this feature is available as an in-app purchase. Also, it is available mainly for English as the input language (Spanish, German or French variants may be supported on some devices). Image Hints work well only for small sentences. For extremely simple sentences it may not be available. Also, we recommend “against” using Image Hints for long, complicated or multiple sentences.

STAY ORGANISED WITH FOLDERS

TranslatorBuddy lets you organise your translations into folders. With this, you can now group your language learnings, important business conversations or, in general, any valuable translations into folders.

FREE APP VS. PAID PLANS

TranslatorBuddy is free to download and comes with 500 letters of free translations. That gives you approximately 10 free translations assuming an average of 50 letters per translation. You can add more letters anytime by buying the “20,000 Letters” in-app purchase plan from the Settings screen. 20,000 letters is approximately 400 translations assuming an average of 50 letters per translation.
There are no Image Hints available in the free plan. You can however buy them from the “100 Image Hints” in-app purchase plan from the Settings screen. This will give you Image Hints for 100 translations. An Image Hint will get consumed only if you use it by explicitly clicking on the Image button.

There is no expiry date for any of the in-app purchases, which means you can use them when you need.
