Trap Tracker

The Trap Tracker control app allows fishers to control the EdgeTech 5112 Ropeless Fishing System. The app connects via Bluetooth® wireless technology to the BLEAT (Bluetooth Low Energy Acoustic Transceiver) which sends commands and receives status information from the underwater unit.



Trap Tracker virtually marks trap and trawl lines, records the positions and catch information and uploads it to a cloud database to help other fishers and law enforcement know where traps are located, just as they would if there was a buoy floating at the surface.
