Trinity River

This app provides an easy access to the data you need to plan your river activities. This includes the river flow and temperature data of the famous Trinity River in Northern California, but the app also provides some historical data and helps you analyze if this is the best time to conduct your river activities (fishing, rafting). The application also links to helpful weather, local and other wikipedia information and makes it easily accessible.

The most current river flow data is fetched from USGS and CDEC resources. Sunrise, sunset and moon transit times are provided even if the app is in offline mode. The map view provides some additional data, such as campgrounds, river access points, boat launches and other points of interest. Quick links provide means to report poaching, access fishing regulations, check salmon quota, and get other local information among other things.
