New from BFS, the True Squat app measures the depth of your squat to ensure you are getting the optimal results from your training!
With the device strapped to your thigh, the app uses your device’s accelerometers to sound a beep and vibrate to let you know when your thigh reaches TRUE parallel on each rep. If you’re not getting to parallel you’re not getting the full benefit from your squat routine.
It also counts and displays your reps to lets you know when you've finished your set with a clear audible signal.
Settings allow beep/vibrate at 0º (true parallel), or 15 and 20 degrees above parallel, useful for a box squat or an easier/training workout. The Settings page also allows you to choose the number of reps in your set.
BFS True Squat includes teaching aids under the home screen menu button. These aids include a comprehensive technique video covering parallel squats and proper spotting protocols for maximum performance and safety. With the True Squat, the spotters can focus on their jobs of spotting and offering encouragement without having to assess the depth of each repetition.
