UK-MPA

The United Kingdom Maritime Pilot's Association (UKMPA) Mobile Application (App) is an information-sharing tool to help improve maritime safety.

The App assists maritime pilots across the UK to notify relevant authorities, including the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) and local port authorities, where non-compliance with the pilot transfer requirements is suspected or identified.

Suspected instances of non-compliance with the SOLAS and/or ISO requirements associated with pilot transfer arrangements should be notified to the MCA to assist with subsequent Port State Control activity.

The App also contains a variety of useful information resources regarding pilot transfer arrangements for operational reference purposes.

Users must agree to the User Agreement to gain access to the App.

If your port is not listed in the App and you wish to participate, please contact the UKMPA, or send a 'Test Report' via the App.
