Universal Piper is a lab to create your own bagpipes:
- You have complete access to the volume, sound, and tuning of each note of the chanter and drones to create your own bagpipe preset,
- You can transpose each instrument plus/minus an octave,
- You can switch to tempered tuning at any time,
- You can mix chanter and drones from different bagpipes.

Give life to your bagpipes with a complete effect rig:
- Effects dedicated to bagpipe : a customizable second voice, a humanizer, a valve noise,
- Classic effects including equalizer, reverberation, and spreader,
- Effects from the guitar world : delay, flanger, and vibrato.
- Each configuration can be saved and called back any time.

For your live performances, Universal Piper integrates an advanced MIDI controller management:
- Compatible with wired and Bluetooth MIDI instruments including MIDI chanters, keyboards, EWI, pedal boards…
- Preconfigured for most of the existing MIDI chanters: technopipes, redpipes, Blair Digital Chanter, WARBL, trino, master gaita, degerpipes, and more
- For MIDI chanter, to make it short, select your MIDI chanter and fingering in the list, and Universal Piper does the rest.
- Still, you can go further managing several types of chanters, modifying notes using custom or predefined modes (mixolydian, dorian,…).
- All effects and sound parameters can be managed through MIDI (Program Change, Control Change, Note ON/OFF, Pitchbend are supported).

Universal Piper also integrates a MIDI and BWW file player, including tempo and grace notes (only BWW) adjustment.

Record, replay, and share your performance with the included MIDI recorder.

If you are a registered user of Universal Piper on Windows or MacOS, you just need to purchase the STARTER PACK to unlock all available bagpipes.

You will also be able to share your presets and MIDI configuration between your computer and iPad.
