UNSUB is a connecting platform that links survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) to support providers which include government institutions and agencies, SGBV State Response Teams as well as Civil Society Organizations actively working in the SGBV response space.

UNSUB functions primarily to connect survivors of SGBV to support and justice, while ensuring that survivors are able to track the progress made by the various stakeholders that are assigned to the case. UNSUB ensures inclusiveness by allowing for third-party users to report cases on behalf of survivors and this component serves the tech-disadvantaged who might not have the capacity to report cases on the platform.

FEATURES

* Login/Register: You are required to create an account on the app by providing a few details. You will still be able to report a case without creating an account, but will not be able to track the progress made on the case unless you have an account.

* Report Cases: You can report cases of sexual and gender-based violence on the app and get to track the progress of the cases through the application. You may attach video, audio, and/or documents that can assist in better understanding and handling cases.

* Matching: Once you report a case, it is automatically assigned to the appropriate stakeholders with intervention expertise to handle it. Stakeholders who accept the case will reach out to you and provide help or intervention as necessary.

* Tracking: You can view the progress made by the stakeholders by logging into your account and selecting the “My Cases” tab on your dashboard. You can also ask for updates or questions regarding your cases in the comment section accessible in the “My Cases” tab.
* Resource Center: The ‘Resource Center’ tab provides you with a pool of resources pertaining to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence, active legislation, statistics and useful tips around SGBV.
* Emergency Lines: You get access to toll-free numbers you can call in case of emergencies relating to SGBV.
