Rent reporting is a way for tenants to give their credit position a boost by having their monthly rent payments reported to credit bureaus. It's like a pat on the back for being a responsible renter. This can help tenants with limited credit history or not-so-great scores show that they're financially savvy, which could lead to better loan options, credit cards, and lower interest rates down the road. It's an easy way to get the kudos you deserve for your on-time rent payments and make them work for you in the credit world!

HOW IT WORKS
• Download the Uplift Money app and create an account for free
• Let us know a few key bits of information about your rental arrangement including the date your rent is due, how much you pay and who you pay it to. This way, we know what to look out for each month
• Connect to your bank account with a secure open banking journey to help us identify your rent payments
• All you have to do is confirm your latest payment each month – that’s it!
• Your information will be sent over to Experian – our chosen credit bureau partner
• Each month you report your rent, you’ll build on your Uplift Streak. The bigger your streak, the better your chance of improving your credit position. Don’t break it!

Don’t worry, we’ll never speak to your landlord or report missed payments to credit bureaus.
