Utility for the Soul is a miniature meditative puzzle experience based on the Lithuanian-American environment artist Aleksandra Kasuba’s concept of the Retreat House - a unique, utopian facility used by large corporations to rejuvenate their overworked employees.

Take the role of the revitalization manager of the Retreat House and guide the visiting workers by interacting with various mechanisms hidden from plain sight. Touch, hold, or drag features in order to refresh the tired employees’ souls and prepare them for their return to the office.

The project was developed for a retrospective exhibition "Shaping the future. Environments by Aleksandra Kasuba" at The National Gallery of Art in Vilnius, Lithuania, 2021.
