App Store Description

The VaVoid app has been created to help tradesmen and other van owners in the UK to protect their tools, van and livelihood from the epidemic of van tool theft and van thefts that have been happening more and more frequently in the UK and worldwide in recent years.

This VaVoid app concept is one that Van Security expert 'Jeff Scott' (Director of Sussex Installations) has created in order to give something extra to help tradesmen and other van owners across the UK (and worldwide) to protect their livelihoods. Jeff Scott is recognised worldwide as a van security expert and he demonstrates his van security innovations through his 'Sussex Installations' YouTube channel. Jeff Scott recommends multiple strategies for van security and his newest innovation of this VaVoid app, now gives an additional strategy for van security; where tradesmen can help each other with this new 'VaVoid app - Van Security Avoidance Network'.

You can use the VaVoid app to;
- Get immediate notifications if someone else reports a van break in near to you, meaning that you can react in real time by removing your tools from your van or by taking additional security precautions.
- View latest reports from anywhere to see what is happening in real time
- View nearest reports for the area (car park, road or general area) where you are about to park your van. This will enable you to avoid parking in known crime hot spots, or to take additional precautions if you have no choice but to park in them.

You can make your own reports via the app;
- Alert others near you that someone is breaking into vans now
- Alert others near to you that someone is behaving suspiciously
- Report a break in (or attempted break in) that has happened to your van
- Report that tools have been found or recovered
- Report a suspected stolen van has been found / recovered
- Add your van security tips
- Add useful information

You can also comment on other members posts to offer advice and support to your fellow tradesmen and van owners.

In short, we can all work together using this app to help to reduce the chance of VaVoid members from loosing their tools, their vans and their livelihoods as a result of the growing van crime epidemic; and the app is completely free to use.
