From the heart of London, two founders emerged to create an amazing yet highly demanded, all-encompassing Vegan Food app which became The Veganists. The founders/CEOs Michael Kay and Kelechi Imachukwu being from London, discovered a city full of great restaurants but with the growing demand for vegan and vegetarian food, not enough vegan restaurants were getting the traffic they’d have liked to and the niche was gently being swept under the rug even though the vegan market could boast of an increase that is predicted to be globally worth around £20Billion by 2025.

The Veganists have made it their personal mission to bring the best local and international restaurants direct to people’s homes.

Feature: The app itself, provides a platform for users to have access to an array of HD cooking videos that display a chef making various vegan or vegetarian meals. The ingredients list and cooking time as well as preparation instructions, are all included.

Feature: To make it fun, the app allows users the chance to film and upload their own recipes and meals to the community page.

Feature: On a more conventional note, users can use the app as a click and collect tool for local restaurants and use the app for food delivery at which the customer can track on their phone.

The Veganists have an aim to become the world’s leading Vegan and Vegetarian platform on a mission to transform the way customers perceive vegan food. Whether that be for informational purposes with our blog, or ordering food to enjoy with friends, we want to be number one.

As well as mainstream restaurants, we want local businesses to have the fortune of promoting their brand on a platform that they can trust is designed for just that purpose, meaning that the users will know what they want and why they’re using the app.
