How it works:


Go to viahero.com to select your local trip planning expert— we call them Heroes.

Within 24 hours your Hero will contact you to begin planning your trip!

In as little as a week, they will build a completely customized guidebook for your group’s interests and budget, and arrange anything on the ground that you need. The finished guidebook will be submitted in this app for easy access while traveling.

Once you’re on your trip you’ll use the app to travel independently on your own. Want a guide? No problem, your Hero can arrange that too!

BASIC ($30/day/group) includes:

Trip Consulting - One-on-one consulting over email with your Hero, plus insider tips on where to go and what to do!

Travel Arrangements - Heroes can arrange anything you need: drivers, multi-city transportation, airport logistics, tours, guides, activities, connecting with locals, private dinners, etc.

Booking Recommendations - Flights, lodging, tour guides, events, museums, a private salsa lesson, etc. For anything your Hero can't book without a credit card, they'll provide easy-to-book links. One click, card info, and done!

Personalized Guidebook - Complete with your custom curated itinerary, descriptions & pictures, local recommendations, and country-specific info like laws and customs. Your guidebook will be stored on the mobile app, and available offline.


PREMIUM ($40/day/group) includes BASIC plus:

Offline Maps - Navigate the region with a tailor-made map loaded with your Hero's recommendations. Runs offline on our app.

In Country Phone Support - Keep in touch with your Hero while in the country by phone. (Standard roaming rates apply.)

Restaurant Reservations - For those special meals, or all of them, have your Hero make the call. Don’t worry about waiting, or not getting a table!
