With 45 RPM you can open any song from your music library and simulate the faster playback speed of a 33 rpm record at 45 rpm or the slower speed of a 45 rpm record at 33 rpm.

As most vinyl enthusiasts will have discovered, accidentally playing a record at the wrong speed can lead to some surprising results and quite exciting discoveries hidden within the records you thought you knew so well.
Why should people with turntables have all the fun though? Now you can load any song from the music library on your device and play it back like a 33 rpm record at 45 rpm (faster) or a 45 rpm record at 33 rpm (slower).
The shift in pitch isn't huge (a bit more than a 5th in musical terms) so sometimes the result is quite cool, especially with instrumental music. It also works really well when speeding up singers with low voices or slowing down singers with high voices.
