The Vocab Builder does just that, builds a user’s vocabulary!


In this app, you can add words, revise them using the flash cards, and archive any word that have been learnt. Words can also be easily moved between the archive and current list of words to learn, meaning users can go back over anything they are unsure of.

- Who would benefit… ?



This app is an excellent tool for any students preparing for 11+ Transfer Tests or Common Entrance exams, but will be of tremendous benefit to any child, from 11 up to 18. It would also be useful for more advanced speakers of English as a foreign language.


Increasing your vocabulary can be difficult, especially with children and particularly if they are reluctant to read. This app offers a quick way to reference any new words they come across, and store them to maximise the opportunity to learn them at a later date. It’s interactivity makes for a dynamic but simple way of learning new words and exposing students (both young and old!) to more advanced vocabulary.

- Who makes the app… ?



This game has been developed by Lucky Gecko Apps in association with Lucky Gecko Tuition.


Lucky Gecko Tuition is a small, friendly group of tutors based in Buckinghamshire, England. They work with children aged 7 to 18, and aim to boost confidence and inspire a love of learning in all their students.


All of the mechanics and features of this app have been inspired by the tutors themselves, so we can make the most of all their knowledge and experience.
