Voice Activated Living

Voice Activated Living is a new service that allows older adults to use the power of their voice to stay connected to family and friends using devices like Amazon's Alexa Echo Show and Google's Nest Hub.

The VAL app allows family and friends to easily share video and audio messages, photos, and curated content. It keeps everyone updated about what others are sending and inspires them to send more of what makes their loved ones smile.

A higher percentage of older adults — though certainly not all older adults — face challenges with digital devices and services, provoking feelings of frustration, isolation, and even loneliness, for both them and their family and friends.

This a real problem faced by tens of millions in the U.S. alone.
