What is it about?
VolFire helps volunteer fire department members to inform whether they are attending a call immediately, after a while or not at all. In this easy-to-use app the firefighter touches a green, red or yellow icon to report his/her status on the particular call. In the app, each member of the department sees the statuses of other members in real-time, meaning how many men and women are responding to the call for help.

VolFire helps volunteer fire department members to inform whether they are attending a call immediately, after a while or not at all. In this easy-to-use app the firefighter touches a green, red or yellow icon to report his/her status on the particular call. In the app, each member of the department sees the statuses of other members in real-time, meaning how many men and women are responding to the call for help.
It is possible to report that one is attending after a delay, which is done by touching the yellow icon. The app then asks the user to estimate the delay, meaning the time until the firefighter is at the station. This estimate will be visible to other firefighters in the app.
A history of incidents and members' attendance is stored in the cloud and a web page for VolFire allows you to browse and edit information later.
